Here's to the summertime sunshine that lays ahead for everyone this year. The warm days and long summer evenings are a great reminder that all is right with the world, and it’s always great to get outside and enjoy all the summer activities.
So let me give you a short Irish blessing to start your summer:
May God Grant you always…
A sunbeam to warm you,
a moonbeam to charm you,
a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you.
Laughter to cheer you.
Faithful friends near you.
And whenever you pray,
Heaven to hear you.
Grab that glass of wine or ice-cold beer and crash in your favorite chair on the patio – it’s time for June’s update.
This month’s Prime Rib nights will be June 7 and June 21. On these evenings, we are breaking out the grill – after all it’s finally grilling season! Our Prime Rib tastes great grilled and smoked, especially after it’s been slow roasted.
Our Sunday Brunch this month will be Father’s Day, June 16, once again combining brunch and BBQ for the summer. Bacon, eggs, ribeye steaks, and BBQ ribs sound pretty good, right? Give Dad, Grandpa, or Pop Pop a day to relax, kickback, and enjoy some great food.
This month’s Fresh Catch nights will be replaced with two very popular events:
Sushi Night on Friday, June 14. We always have an excellent turnout for this event and don’t get an opportunity to host it enough. Chef Ron and the staff do an amazing job and it’s a chance to try something different. If you like sushi, you will love our sushi night! And if you’re not sure about it…try it! You just might be surprised.
Jimmy Buffett Seafood Buffet on Friday, June 28. I have once again tried to encompass all things seafood (Las Vegas buffet-style). This is what I’m thinking: King crab legs, grilled oysters, clams, scallops, and of course, Maine lobster tails. These things have always made our seafood buffets amazing and very busy, but this month we are adding a slight summer twist…combining our seafood buffet with a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Party! WHAAAAAAT?? Dust off the parrot head gear and dig the Hawaiian shirt out of the closet. It’s time to get into that beach party state of mind. So think sun, sand, and a warm breeze blowing across the clear blue waters. The taste of the Gulf and South Beach sprinkled with Caribbean influence will help create some special seafood dishes. Now add live entertainment and drink features then you’ve got a party!! I hope to see many of you here that evening. It should be a nice little get-together!
As always, thanks for all your support.
Take care, be safe, and may the road rise to meet you.See you at the Club!
